The Neox from Petzl is an assisted belay device for the gym and rock climbing.
Neox differs from the classic GriGri locking device in its internal construction!
When opening the locking device (as when inserting the rope), you will immediately notice a wheel that facilitates the exit of the rope without accidentally blocking it.
Its ergonomic handle also adjusts the descent, which is always under the control of the hand holding the brake side of the rope.
In this way, the typical slip of a locking device is combined with the practicality of an assisted braking locking device, creating a new device that is extremely comfortable to use.
It can be used on single pitches from 8.5 to 11 mm.
