The Speed 30 alpine backpack, tested everywhere from the Canadian Rockies to the Fitz Roy massif, is designed for performance on rock, snow and ice targets around the world.
Featuring an updated BD X-rip 210d fabric with UTS™ coating, the new Speed is built to withstand years of abuse on the mountain.
Comfort has also been improved with an updated moisture-wicking back frame and redesigned dual-density foam shoulder straps for better load distribution on the approach, while remaining comfortable on the ride.
The PickPockets™ ice tool now features a new custom metal bone attachment, enhancing its safety, as well as snag-free crampon straps and a safety attachment with a pull-out rope strap.
The main glove-friendly surface-mounted hood buckles are a new addition and the drawstring closure provides easy access and prevents slipping and light rainfall.
